The material consist of recordings of the unique, almost mystical-like concert: "Wyspiański według Koniecznego" ["Wyspiański according to Konieczny"], which inaugurated the Wyspiański Festival 2007, which is a part of the celebration of the 750th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Krakow.

Songs composed by Zygmunt Konieczny to the words of Stanisław Wyspiański - an avant-garde, modern and versatile composer - are sung by the most outstanding oratorio soloists, including Joanna Słowińska, Marta Bizoń, Lidia Bogaczówna, Przemysław Branny and Marek Bałata. The album consists of compositions that have revolutionized the face of theater and theater music: suite from "Noc listopadowa" (1974) and "Klątwa" (1997) directed by Andrzej Wajda, "Akropolis" (1999) and "Legenda" (1984), and the composition "Serce moje gram" (2001) based on "Wesele", fragments of "Wyzwolenie" and some selected poems by Stanisław Wyspiański.
