SŁOWIŃSKA - AUKSO - KONIECZNY / feat. St. Słowiński Quintet @Filharmonia Śląska

SŁOWIŃSKA - AUKSO - KONIECZNY at Filharmonia Śląska!

On December 11th in Katowice, the SŁOWIŃSKA - AUKSO - KONIECZNY concert will take place, with participation of Joanna Słowińska, the AUKSO Orchestra conducted by Marek Moś, and Stanisław Słowiński Quartet. It's a tribute to Zygmunt Konieczny - not only the creator of Polish literary song genre , but also an outstanding Krakow film music composer. He composed for the movies of such Polish directors as Jan Jakub Kolski, Andrzej Wajda or Tadeusz Konwicki. In terms of repertoire, it is a sum of Konieczny's compositional achievements. The composer dedicated some of his works to the soloist Joanna Słowińska (including solo parts of the cantata form "Serce moje gram" to the lyrics by Stanisław Wyspiański), some are known from the repertoire of Ewa Demarczyk or composed for films ("Jańcio Wodnik") and theatre performances ("Noc listopadowa"). There are also compositions to the lyrics by eminent poets (Maria Jasnorzewska-Pawlikowska, Julian Tuwim, Miron Białoszewski, Wojciech Młynarski, Agnieszka Osiecka and others) - nowadays defining the rank and canon of the literary song genre. The concert also promotes the SŁOWIŃSKA - AUKSO - KONIECZNY live album recorded in the same line-up in the NOSPR concert hall in Katowice. ________________________________________ • Joanna Słowińska – vocal • Karol Śmiałek – vocal • Stanisław Słowiński Quintet • AUKSO Chamber Orchestra • Marek Moś – conductor
