Joanna Słowińska with the band (Poland)

Scheduled for Sunday, July 20, the premiere concert of the album „Chcę...” („I want...”) of Joanna Słowińska is a combination of two seemingly distant worlds. The program consists of new interpretations of Polish folk songs and compositions by Zygmunt Konieczny to the words of St. Wyspiański and E. Bryll. The modernization of old, traditional Polish ballads and recalling clear, though not overbearing elements of the folk in Konieczny's art - connected by the captivating interpretation, the extraordinary strength and beauty of Joanna's voice create a new stylistic quality.
