Haromszek (Romania, Transylvania)

 

The band was formed in 1990; collects and cultivates Transylvania Hungarian dances and songs, it also tries to contribute to familiarizing the ethnic whole living in Transylvania with traditional music and dance art.

 

"Poczekalnia / Varoterem" [„Waiting Room”] - a dance performance in one act

 

The performance was inspired by multiple dance arrangements: a verbunk from Korond, czardasz, gypsy czardasz from Marosszek and Szaszcsavas, szoktetos, szokos, drumul dracului, hategana, barbunc des, sarba.
