Słowińska - Aukso - Konieczny. Concert and CD premiere at the Film Music Festiwal in Krakow.
As part of the Film Music Festival in Krakow, on may 27, 2022, at the ICE Krakow Congress Centre, the premiere of the concert album took place: SŁOWIŃSKA-AUKSO-KONIECZNY | live @ NOSPR, alongwith a promotional concert for the project. The special guest of the event was Zygmunt Konieczny. During the concert, Joanna Słowińska was awarded the Honoris Gratia badge - awarded by the Mayor of Krakow to individuals meritorious for the City.
The concert featuring compositions of the Master in arrangements and orchestrations by Stanisław Słowiński is a tribute to Zygmunt Konieczny - the creator of the genre of Polish literary song, an outstanding composer of film and theatre music, author of music for over a hundred feature films, TV shows, documentaries, and short films. He composed music for works by directors such as Jan Jakub Kolski, Andrzej Wajda, or Tadeusz Konwicki. The concert at ICE Krakow as part of FMF and the album: SŁOWIŃSKA-AUKSO-KONIECZNY – recorder at the NOSPR concert hall in Katowice - repertoire-wise represents the culmination of Konieczny's compositional achievements. Some of the pieceswere dedicated by the composer to the solist: Joanna Słowińska (including solo partsof the cantata form 'Serce moje gram' to the lyrics by Stanisław Wyspiański), some are known from the repertoire of Ewa Demarczyk or composed for film ('Jańcio Wodnik') and theater performances ('Noc listopadowa'). There are also compositions set to texts by eminent poets (Maria Jasnorzewska-Pawlikowska, Julian Tuwim, Miron Białoszewski, Wojciech Młynarski, Agnieszka Osiecka, and others) – defining today the status and canon of the literary song genre .
