Ivo Papasov & His Wedding Group (Bulgaria)

 

Ivo is referred to as "the fastest clarinet player in the world", but, importantly, his technical virtuosity is not inferior to his infinite musical imagination. Papasov is one of the most interesting contemporary jazz musicians, and the concert of his "wedding band", one of the most interesting formations of the jazz / folk genre border, is a musical event full of energy, "broken" rhythms, inspired by, among others musical tradition of Bulgaria, Turkey and the Southern Carpathians.
