Solo concert on morsing, ghatam and konnakol
He was born in the family of musicians and writers in 1979, he started learning in the age of 4 from his father Vidwan Nagendra Udupa. Currently he is studying from the greatest masters of earthenware instrument ghatam, under the direction of Vidhushi Smt. Sukanya Ramgopal and Vidwan V. Suresh. In the age of 12 he started giving concerts, at the beginning only in India, but in the following years also abroad. He accompanied a lot of famous Indian artists (such as: Sarvashree Dr. L. Subramaniam, M. S. Gopalkrishna, Dr. N. Ramani, Ganesh and Kumaresh, Mandolin Srinivas, T. V. Gopalkrishna, T. V. Shankaranarayana, Madhurai T. N. Seshagopalan). Besides performing authentic classical carnatic music, he took part in many fusion, jazz or world music projects, playing with Virginia Mayhew, Chris Rhyne and Alex Rostotsky among others. He won many prestigious awards and gave concerts in USA, Spain, Canada, France, Switzerland, Germany, Oman and Kuwait.
